What sets Stompers apart from other Internet Boot Stores?

Stompers is a unique specialty Boots-Only retail shop. Our primary purpose is to offer the best quality boots available along with a friendly efficient commitment to serve your needs.

Since 1996 thousands of customers have purchased boots from our San Francisco store. Stompers was the first retail business, in San Francisco's South of Market dot-com area, to offer internet on-line ordering. We've shipped thousands of boots around the country and around the world!

At Stompers an experienced boot expert is always available to answer any of your questions about boots and what types of boot you may need for specific purposes.

Most boot styles shown on this web site are kept in stock and can usually be shipped the same day for orders received by noon Pacific Time.

Returns & Exchanges Information

United States Orders

Your boots do not fit

If you receive your new Stompers' boots and the size is not correct, call or email the shop for a Return-Authorization -- click "Contact Information."

A prepaid United Parcel Service (UPS) return label will be sent to you. We will adjust the size up or down as needed and send you a replacement pair without shipping charge (in U.S. only.)

We will exchange any boot for a different size at no cost to you ONE-TIME -ONLY -- that's one complimentary -- one "round trip ticket." (valid only in the United States.)

The Stompers "exchange-for-size" or "exchange-for-different-style" is complimentary for ONE EXCHANGE ONLY! If you are unsatisfied with the fit or style of the second pair of boots -- you will pay the return/exchange shipping costs.

Stompers will charge $10.00 return shipping charge for each exchange after the first COMPLIMENTARY exchange.

This is for United States Customers only. See below for International Customers. Boots must be returned in the same NEW-BOOTS condition as you received them. All returns must have a Stompers Return-Authorization, and need to be shipped to Stompers directly, not to the manufacturer.

Exchange for different style

If you are not satisfied with the style and wish to exchange for a different style or brand, there will be no additional shipping charge for ONE exchange.

The Stompers"exchange-for-different-style" is complimentary for ONE RETURN ONLY! If you are unsatisfied with the fit or with the style -- you will pay the return/exchange shipping costs.

Stompers will charge $10.00 return shipping charge for each exchange after the first COMPLIMENTARY exchange.

Boots must be returned in the same NEW-BOOTS condition you received them.

All returns must have a Stompers Return-Authorization, and need to be shipped to Stompers directly, not to the manufacturer.

Return without exchange

If you request a return without exchange, there will be a $15.00 re-stocking charge.

For returns without exchange, you are responsible for the return shipping charges.

Boots must be returned in the same NEW-BOOTS condition as you received them. All returns must have a Stompers Return-Authorization, and need to be shipped to Stompers directly, not to the manufacturer.

Note

All exchanges must be requested within 30 days from the date of purchase.


International Orders - Including Canada

Boot size difficulty

Please be absolutely sure on the sizing of a boot before an order is processed. You can email us with questions and we will give you advice on the sizing for each brand and each style.

Stompers cannot offer pre-paid return shipping for international orders.

The exception would be if Stompers makes an error, for example:

  •  If we send you a size different than what you ordered, Stompers will pay for exchange shipping costs.
  •  If a boot is defective, Stompers will pay for exchange shipping costs.

However:

  •  If you do decide to exchange for a different size or different style, you will pay for the return shipping to Stompers and you will be billed for sending a different pair to you.

This applies to all International Orders -- including Canada.

Exchange for different style

You must first contact us for a Return-Authorization number.

When you have received the authorization, ship the boots prepaid, to Stompers.

New boots will be refunded at the price of the boots:

      1. less any shipping/handling charges
      2. less our standard $15.00 restocking fee

Shipping & Handling Information

United States Orders

  •  For in-stock items

  • We make every effort to ship within 48 hours of your order. On occasions boots may be delayed due to being temporarily out of stock.

    Stompers will always attempt to contact you if your order may be delayed because of drop-shipping.

  •  For Out of Stock items

  • In some instances -- out-of-stock boot may need to be drop-shipped from the manufacturer's warehouse to you.

    This will add more days to the time your order is shipped.

    Stompers will always attempt to contact you if your order may be delayed because of drop-shipping.

  •  Our Standard Method of Shipping is UPS GROUND

  • UPS picks up Monday - Friday at 3pm Pacific Time.

    Note: UPS does not pickup or deliver on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays.

  •  HAWAII, ALASKA, PUERTO RICO shipping. Charge is $25.00. You must select that option in the menu choice at check-out.

  • For Faster Service at Extra Cost

  • Stompers can provide 2nd Day or Next Day Services from UPS (United Parcel Service)

  •  Gloves, t-shirts, and socks ordered with boots

  • Shipped with your new boots at no additional charge.

  •  Gloves, t-shirts, and socks ordered without boots

Shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) First-Class/Priority Mail or United Parcel Service (UPS)


Important Notice - Regarding Drop Shipments

If you request 2nd Day or Next Day Delivery for an item that is temporarily out of stock, it will need to be drop-shipped from the manufacturer.

This will add additional days to your order.

Most of our manufacturers can ship expedited delivery service.

Expedited shipping service from the Manufacturer's Warehouse will always take extra days.

When drop-shipping from the manufacturer is necessary, Stompers cannot guarantee 2nd Day or Next Day deliveries.

Stompers will always attempt to contact you if your order may be delayed because of drop-shipping.


Shipping charges for orders shipped within the United States

UPS Ground: boot orders, as well as any additional items ordered with boots.

$7.00 for each pair

UPS 2nd Day: boot orders, as well as any additional items ordered with boots.

$32.00 for each pair

UPS Next Day: boot orders, as well as any additional items ordered with boots.

$62.00 for each pair

U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail: boot orders to APO/FPO addresses, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and U.S. Territories only, as well as any additional items ordered with boots.

$25.00 for each pair, insurance included

U.S. Postal Service First-Class Mail: Gloves, t-shirts, and socks, ordered without boots, shipped to all U.S. addresses, including APO/FPO addresses.

$5.00 for each glove t-shirt order


Stompers UPS service does not include US Territories, such as Guam, Virgin Islands, or Puerto Rico. Orders to these areas are shipped via U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. See option four (4) above.

 


Canadian and International Orders

Please note that Stompers cannot offer complimentary exchanges for size adjustments or style changes on International Orders, including Canada.

You need to be absolutely certain of your boot size before making an International Order.

If you receive a boot that is too large or too small in fit, it will need to be returned to Stompers at your expense.

Stompers will charge shipping costs a second time for return shipping to you in this situation.

The exception would be if Stompers has made an error on your order or if the boot is defective.

For Canadian Shipments

Orders to Canada are shipped via United Parcel Service's UPS Worldwide Expedited service.

Gloves, t-shirts, and socks ordered with your new boots are shipped at no additional charge.

Gloves, t-shirts and socks ordered without boots are charged $9.00 and are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS)

At Stompers Boots International, we welcome customers from around the globe.

Shipping outside of the United States can be complicated. Few Internet shops will do it.

Stompers Boots ships international via United Parcel Service's UPS Worldwide Expedited service -- where available. This insures door-to-door tracking!

Gloves, t-shirts, and socks ordered with your new boots are shipped at no additional charge.

International Shipping Policies

When placing an International order you will accept and agree to Stompers Boots International Orders Policy and Terms. By doing so, you will agree and expect to pay a local customs fee at the time of delivery. You understand that all packages shipping outside the U.S. are subject to local government customs/tariffs/taxes/duties and other related government fees as deemed necessary by the shipping destinations government. These fees are assessed, controlled, and retained by the local government. None of these fees are passed onto Stompers Boots. You agree to pay any and all such fees that the shipping destination’s government deems necessary. These fees are always changing; only your local customs office can estimate what any or all such fees will be in advance to placing your order. Fees generally are 25% the value of your order, but these vary by country and can be much lower or much higher.

If you do not accept the package upon delivery, and the package requires that it be returned to Stompers Boots, you will accept all shipping fees to and from your shipping destination.
Stompers Boots will try to ship your order as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee shipping times. Please make sure your email address is correct. If we have any questions or need to verify information with you we will email you within 1-2 business days. Stompers Boots will also email you a shipment tracking number as soon as your order departs our store --usually two to four business days after your order has been placed. Then you should estimate five to ten business days transit time to your shipping destination.
