Background on San Francisco's Dore Alley Street Fair
What is this "Dore Alley" thing?

The Dore Alley Fair or simply Dore Alley (Pronounced dorey) are the common moniker of the officially named Up Your Alley Fair, a leather and fetish event held on the last Sunday of each July on Folsom Street between 9th and 10th Streets and on Dore Street ("Dore Alley") from Howard Street to half a block southeast of Folsom Street. The streets are lined with vendors' booths and a sound stage. It has very much the atmosphere of a New Orleans style Mardi Gras -- and a touch of Caligula.

Somewhat less commercialized and tourist-oriented than the Folsom Street Fair, Up Your Alley Fair draws several thousand fetish enthusiasts and onlookers.

This fair is one of many neighborhood fairs San Francisco has weekly at the end of summer, ending with the Castro Street Fair. There is a fair for nearly every neighborhood in San Francisco.

Stompers Boots retail store is located directly adjacent to the Dore Alley/Folsom location. Each year Stompers hosts a backyard gathering (in our boot-camp garden) of friends and former customers who are attending the street fair. If you are interested in being invited to the upcoming Stompers Folsom Street Fair party (on the last Sunday in September) please send an email located at this link.

Here is a direct link page with details related to both the Dore Alley and the September Folsom Street fair.

Please be advised that the web page link above for Dore Alley and Folsom Fair contain content oriented to adult play including nudity and fetish.
